All tables now live — Place your bets

How to Play

Six players. One dice roll. One winner takes 5x. The simplest game on Bitcoin.

🔗
STEP 1Connect your wallet

Install the OP_WALLET Chrome extension and connect it to the site. Your Bitcoin address is your account — no signup, no email, no KYC.

🎯
STEP 2Choose a table

Pick your stakes from 8 tables — Bronze (25k sats) all the way up to God (1 BTC). Higher tables mean bigger wins.

🎲
STEP 3Pick your number (1-6)

Each round has 6 slots. Click an open number, confirm in your wallet, and your bet is locked in. You can claim multiple numbers in the same round.

STEP 4Wait for 6 players

Once all 6 numbers are taken, the round is sealed. A new round automatically opens on the same table.

⛏️
STEP 5Bitcoin rolls the dice

The next Bitcoin block hash determines the winner. The hash is public, immutable, and impossible to predict. No one can manipulate the result.

💰
STEP 6Winner takes 5x

If your number matches, you win 5x your bet. The remaining 1/6 goes to the protocol. Losers receive nothing.

The Math

Players per round6
Your chance of winning16.67% (1 in 6)
Winner payout5x your bet (5/6 of pot)
Protocol cut1/6 of pot (16.67%)

Example (Gold table): 6 players each bet 200k sats = 1.2M pot. Winner gets 1M sats. Protocol gets 200k sats.

FAQ

Is it fair?
Yes. The winning number is derived from the Bitcoin block hash — a value that no one can predict or control. You can verify any round on the Verify page.
What are the odds?
You have a 1 in 6 chance of winning (16.67%). If you win, you get 5x your bet. The protocol takes 1/6 of the pot from every round.
How long does a round take?
A round fills when 6 players join — this could be minutes or days depending on activity. Once full, the result comes on the next Bitcoin block (~10 minutes). Rounds stay open until they fill — no timeout.
What if I change my mind after joining?
You can withdraw your bet anytime before the round fills (6/6 players). Click the withdraw button on your slot to get a full refund. You only pay the transaction fee.
Can I pick multiple numbers?
Yes. You can claim multiple slots in the same round. The math self-penalises — the more slots you take, the lower your return per slot. Other players' odds are unaffected.
What wallet do I need?
OP_WALLET — a free Chrome extension for OpNet on Bitcoin L1. Install from Chrome Web Store →
Do I need an account?
No. Your Bitcoin wallet address is your identity. Connect and play.
Are there gas fees?
Yes — every Bitcoin L1 transaction has a network fee. Expect ~5-10k sats per action (joining a round or claiming winnings). On higher tables this is negligible.
What is OpNet?
OpNet is a smart contract platform on Bitcoin L1. It lets developers deploy contracts that execute directly on the Bitcoin blockchain. Nakamoto's Dice runs entirely on OpNet — no separate chain, no bridge. Learn more at opnet.org →
Who runs this?
Nobody knows. The contracts are on-chain, the results are provably fair, and the code is the authority. That's the point.
